Update your Google My Business Listing


So as the world isolates, consumers are online more than they usually would be.

In light of this it is important that you update your Google My Business Listing.

We recommend:
• You update the opening hours on your listing
• Add a post explaining how your business is affected by Covid-19
• Change your status to temporarily closed if relevant.

Previously if a business was marked as temporarily closed, it would lose its appearance in the Google results. Google has changed this so that any business marked ‘’temporarily closed’’ during Covid-19 will still appear in maps during this pandemic event.
