The .au direct domain

From March 24 .au direct domain names – for example “yourbusinessname.au” will be available.

The .au direct domains are shorter, simpler and general purpose.

Anyone with a verified connection to Australia who wants to create or manage an online presence for themself or their business can register one.

If you currently hold a domain name in any other .au namespace (eg. com.au, net.au), you’ll be able to apply for Priority Status to register its exact match in .au direct during the six-month period from launch.
